New Post...

Hey Everybody!

I guess it's highly doubtful, at this point, that anyone even reads this blog anymore! I rarely update it at all! If you want to stay in touch with me... Check my Facebook! It's pretty up-to-date with my latest photos, etc... I do try to update my photography blog a little more often though...

Things have been going great this summer, so far! It has been the busiest summer that I can remember, period! My family has traveled quite alot, along with having my Uncle and Aunt and their family live with us for a few weeks while they are waiting for their new house to be ready to move into! It has been a blast having them with us! My cousin, Valerie, and I have played more games of Scrabble than you can imagine! I actually scored 349 points the other night! My record high score! HA! :) Valerie moves into her college dorm in a few weeks though, and I will be sad to see her go! I'll definitely miss my Scrabble buddy!

Also, I have enrolled in the New York Institute of Photography, and I am doing a correspondence course through them. I started it a few weeks ago, and I am already REALLY enjoying it! I have learned alot of cool techniques, and I'm looking forward to the next year of learning about my favorite subject... photography! :)

Well, that's about it on an update so far on my life this summer! :)

Capture Cincinnati...

Hey Everybody!

Every year the city of Cincinnati puts out a book called "Capture Cincinnati". It's basically a book full of pictures that define Cincinnati. Every single one of these photos are submitted by everyday people that live in Cinci.

The public gets to vote on the photos, and the highest voted photos make it into the book! I entered a few photos in the hopes that at least one will make it into "Capture Cincinnati 2009". Just click on the photo above to vote for my photos! Thanks so much!

Long overdue...

I just realize that I never blog on here. :) HA! Life has been crazy lately... I finished highschool back in February, and have been enjoying some time off of school before college starts in the Fall! I have had a slight change in plans, and will most likely be doing online photography school. I will also HOPEfully be doing a photography internship. We will see how that turns out! I am so excited how God has been opening doors for me with my little photography business! It's hard to believe that only a short year ago I was barely interested in photography! I think God has quite the sense of humor! :)
I just recently created a blog for my photography business. If ya'll would like to check it out you can see it at http://www.photos-by-courtney.blogspot.com/

Also, my photography website can be found at www.wix.com/photosbycourtney/cnc
All the pricing is listed on my website, and you can also contact me if you want to book a photo shoot!
Well, I think I will close out this post with a few of my senior pictures! :)
Love,
Courtney

I suppose I better update...

I think an update is quite overdue. haha :)...
Life has been so busy lately! We have been singing and running all over the place more than I can remember in my entire life. I love it though... It definitely keeps life interesting! :)
We just got back on Monday from singing on the Gaither Homecoming Tour in Myrtle Beach. It was a great weekend. We had three concerts and got to relax a little bit since we didn't have to do all of the singing! :) Uncle Lowell and Aunt Rena flew down for the concerts and they got to ride (more like drive) home with us! haha... Uncle Lowell did most of the driving! :) He's our favorite driver!
Here are some pictures from the Gaither concerts this weekend:

A Branson Vacation. :)

Ok... So, as it turned out, we ended up going to Branson, MO, for vacation instead of Mackinac Island. I was a little disappointed at first, but once we got to Branson I had a blast! We went to the Sight and Sound Theater to see "Noah, the Musical". I enjoyed it! :) We went shopping quite a bit, but SOMEHOW I managed to only spend ten dollars the whole time! WOW! You should be impressed. haha. :) ... One of the days we went to Table Rock Lake and rented a tri-toon boat (basically an overgrown pontoon boat! lol), and a tube to pull behind it! It was so much fun! That was definitely my favorite part of vacation! We also went to the Shepherd of the Hills outdoor theater one night! It was a hilarious play! I definitely got a kick out of it! haha... Brooklyn turned 19 on the Tuesday of our vacation. So, we took her to Olive Garden to celebrate! :) Yummy! My favorite... On our way home we stopped at Lambert's Cafe! Wow I have never had anything like it... It is definitely one of my favorite restaurants now! :)

Here are some pics. :)

Another weekend...

Right now I am on the road in the bus. We're somewhere in between Pennsylvania and Michigan... Uncle Lowell is driving for us this weekend! :) We have one more concert in Michigan tomorrow night, then we will be headed home for three weeks of vacation! I am pretty excited! I'm not sure when the last time is that we had this much time off! We can't decide where we want to go yet, but Mackinac Island in Michigan is a big possibility! Plus maybe a short trip to Nashville, Indiana, to eat at the Nashville House. :) The rest of the time we will probably spend at home just relaxing! :)
I'll make sure to post some pictures after our vacation! :)
Love,
Courtney
